Latin Europe - a vote

Hello WikiProject Slovenia/Archive 1! There is a vote going on at Latin Europe that might interest you. Please everyone, do come and give your opinion and votes. Thank you. The Ogre (talk) 20:59, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion for a collaborative work

Recently, a user (and his sockpuppet account) has tagged several hundreds of articles about Slovenia as unreferenced or in need of cleanup. Several articles are indeed unreferenced but many tags were improperly placed. It would be nice if we could go through this and this together and check everything (it's rather a lot for a single person). Addig references where needed would also be an improvement to the articles. Shall I put it on the project as a task? --Tone 18:03, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I've noticed it. I'll try to fix some of them. Viator slovenicus (talk) 18:12, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Naming convention

Ongoing poll and discussion about a new naming convention at User_talk:Elonka/Hungarian-Slovakian_experiment#Proposed_naming_convention. Please take a look. Squash Racket (talk) 07:01, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I'd like to invite all interested parties to participate in the RfC on how should the birth place of the Slovene hockey player Anže Kopitar be stated. Currently it says "born in Jesenice, Yugoslavia, now Slovenia". I think this is unclear and should be rectified. It makes it seem like Jesenice was previously not part of Slovenia or like Slovenia did not exist at that time, nothing of which makes sense. The phrasing "born in Jesenice, Slovenia, Yugoslavia" leaves no doubt. --Eleassar my talk 08:30, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello WikiProject Slovenia! Could somebody please upload a translated version of this Ljubljana municipality/region map? Not many people would understand what this map is. Cheers, BalkanFever 14:20, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I may provide translation if necessary but don't have the tools or expertise to edit the image. "Mestna občina Ljubljana" = "City Municipality of Ljubljana"; "Četrtne skupnosti" = "Quarter communities". --Eleassar my talk 14:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

The article lacks description of many important aspects regarding Slovenes (see talk page). If you can find any time to expand it, it will be appreciated. --Eleassar my talk 19:23, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

This is a new article on a Slovenian castle by a new editor. Lots of material and plentiful references but badly in need of cleanup, and the author has been shrugging off maintenance tags. Can someone please help him out? Thanks. --Finngall talk 16:37, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

There is a new proposal regarding the usage of diacritics. As Slovene language knows them too, perhaps someone here would like to add his opinion at the proposal's talk page. --Eleassar my talk 07:49, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Assessment

In the section Assessment there is a wrong link that links to Slovakia instead of Slovenia. It also shows that, when the template is being added to the articles. Prunk (talk) 09:08, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
