Hieromartyr Hermogen of Tobolsk

In the Eastern Orthodox tradition, a hieromartyr is a martyr (one who dies for their beliefs) who was also one of the clergy (deacon, priest, or bishop). In like manner a priest-monk is often called a hieromonk.
