Yuuka Maeda (前田憂佳, Maeda Yūka), born on December 28, 1994 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese pop singer and a member of Hello Pro Egg, under Hello! Project.
Biography
In 2004, she passed the Hello Pro Egg audition, becoming a member.
In 2008, she was chosen to join the temporary unit High-King, created for, and whose members were a part of, Cinderella the Musical.
In 2009, she was placed in a new unit S/mileage, along with fellow Hello Pro Eggs Saki Ogawa, Ayaka Wada, and Kanon Fukuda.
She keeps an official Up-Front Agency blog, updating occasionally with information and pictures about her life.
She is set to portray Amu Hinamori in the musical adaption of Shugo Chara!, which also features the other members of Shugo Chara Egg!.
In August 2009, it was revealed that Yuuka, along with Ayaka Wada and Kanon Fukuda, was removed from Shugo Chara Egg!, and replaced with Mizuki Fukumura and Irori Maeda.
