Molinia is a genus of two species of grasses. The genus is named after Juan Ignacio Molina, a 19th century naturalist and scientist from Chile.

Molinia caerulea (Purple Moor Grass). Northern Europe and Asia.
Molinia japonica (Japanese Moor Grass). Northeastern Asia; syn. Moliniopsis japonica.
