J. Anoop Seelin

Anoop Seelin (Template:Lang-kn) is a music director in Kannada film industry (South India). He has films like 'Gooli', 'YeddeLu Manjunatha' and 'Preethse Preethse' to his credit.

Early Life and Education

Anoop was born on 24 October in Hassan, the temple-architecture capital of Karnataka. Being a trained singer, Anoop Seelin wanted to become a playback singer and a music composer. After completing his higher primary and high school in Hassan, Anoop along with his family members moved to Bangalore for his higher education. After completing his secondary education, Anoop continued his studies, opting to become a lawyer. His passion for music never came in the way of his studies, and he completed his graduation in Law from KLE College, Bangalore.

Career

Being a classical singer and influence of music from his family members, he started singing for orchestra in Bangalore and other groups as a hobby. This hobby made him to pursue as a full time singer, when he started working with the legend of Kannada music industry, music director Hamsalekha.

He started working with Hamsalekha as a chorus singer and slowly proved his talent to become a track singer for the songs composed by the legend music director.

Break in Kannada Film Industry

His break came to the Kannada music industry, when he got a chance to sing "Yaro yaro nannavalu yaro...[1]" from the movie Ondagona ba, followed by hit songs from the movies like, Sarvabhoma, Madana[2], Dharma[3], Janapada[4], Nenapirali[5], Sixer[6], and Thaballi[7].

Working with him for a period of 6 years, Hamsalekha thought, he is one, who he is looking for as an assistant and started guiding Anoop to become a successful playback singer.

After a great success in singing, his passion and thirst to become a music director was near and started composing songs for Kannada music industry.

As a Music Director

His dreams came to reality when he had a chance to compose for big budget Kannada movie "Gooli[8]", which was produced by Ramu and directed by P Satya.

Anoop, having experience in Kannada movie industry from a decade made him to score good music for "Gooli" with good back ground music keeping nativity in mind.

His second movie "Yeddelu Manjunatha[9]" audio is released and the songs are entirely different from the current industry trend.

'Preethse Preethse' songs are ruling the charts and it is said that his background score in this movie is the main highlight.

In a recent interview with one of the local channel, Anoop announced that he doing one more movie with Yogesh alias Loose Maada titled Yaksha, which is scheduled to release in 2010.

Upcoming movies

Few movies lined up for Anupseelin includes: Yaksha, Chamarajpete, Janma, Sidlingu, Premagaami and few other unnamed projects.
