Radek Smoleňák (born December 3, 1986 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech professional ice hockey winger currently playing with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Radek played briefly with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009-10 season when he was claimed off waivers by the team late in the pre-season. He played in only one regular season game with the Hawks in which he registered a 5-minute major for fighting. He also participated in the 2009 preseason with Chicago while they played in Zurich, Switzerland and registered 2 goals in one game.[1] After being placed back on waivers by the Blackhawks he was quickly re-claimed by Tampa Bay.
