Norbaeocystin is a mushroom alkaloid and analog of the psychedelic hallucinogenic drug psilocybin. It is found as a minor compound in most psilocybin mushrooms together with psilocin, psilocybin and baeocystin. It is not known if this base contributes to the entheogenic effects the mushroom.
