Welcome!

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. --BigDT 13:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for contributions to Super League XII and I would like to encourage you register for the site that in the future your contributions can easily be accredited to you instead of your IP address (gets a little confusing with so many!). Thanks again! --Ozgod 16:44, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. vandalism

Decline reason: Because so much vandalism is coming from this address, users at this IP who want to edit will have to create user accounts in order to do so. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:24, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a shared ip address of a university. It seems unfair to block everybody for the actions of one person

It should be unblocked. A lot of constructive stuff that is needed can fcome from a university. With there being so many people there its obvious there would be some bad ones.--J 13:30, 2 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Josquius (talkcontribs)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Fabricio Coloccini has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/jetpacktherapy (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 09:23, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Carnot cycle, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Carnot cycle was changed by 128.240.229.3 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2010-01-08T18:24:57+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 18:25, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
