Lansdowne, Masterton, New Zealand is a suburb in the northern area of Masterton, a large town situated in the Wairarapa Valley. Lansdowne is the largest suburb in the town after Solway, Kuripuni, Upper Plain and Eastside. Lansdowne is home to many of the finest, most expensive homes in the Wairarapa, as it is a high socio economic area.

Lansdowne was once home to two primary schools (Totara Drive primary school & Lansdowne primary school) But since then these have both been shut down as part of the Masterton district's amalgamation plan for education in the town. The closest school to the suburb is now Lakeview School, which is east of Wairarapa Hospital and west of the popular Henley lake. There are no high schools in Lansdowne. Lansdowne is a high class area in comparison to those in suburbs such as Eastside and Upper Plain. The recent building of Lansdowne Park lifestyle village has attracted more development and population to the suburb. Lansdowne is served by a suburban bus service, which runs 4 times a day on weekdas, connecting suburban residents to Masterton's CBD. Central Lansdowne is also approximately 2.8 km to Masterton sation, which runs Commuter trains from Masterton, through The Wairarapa and Hutt Valley regions, Terminating at Central Wellignton station. Lansdowne is the only raised urban environment in The Wairarapa. It it knows for its stunning views of the Tararua Mountain range to the west, and the hilly countryside to the east. The entire Wairarapa Valley can be seen from the heights of Boltons road.
