The Happy Shopper, at the Cramner Bank Shops, on the Black Moor Estate in Moor Allerton, Leeds

Happy Shopper is a United Kingdom brand of independent convenience stores and products. The brand is owned by cash and carry company Booker Group, which is part of a consortium led by Baugur. [1]

The products tend to be basic or down-market in nature and are sold by Booker to independent convenience stores and off-licences, which may or may not utilise the Happy Shopper branding. Products include carbonated drinks, groceries, snacks, nudie mags, ready meals, condoms and confectionery

The Happy Man

The Happy Man (or "Jim") was the official name of Happy Shopper's logo – a smiling face with blonde hair.

In recent years,[when?] the "happy man" has dropped from the Happy Shopper products and packaging, as part of a redesign by Partners In Communication.[2]
