A mechanized kaiju. Mecha-King Ghidorah was constructed to destroy Godzilla in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991). After Godzilla used his atomic breath as a knife to cut King Ghidorah's middle head off. 23rd century humans or Futurians put a mechanized head in place of the middle head. Therefore King Ghidorah was not King Ghidorah... but now Mecha-King Ghidorah. the U.N.G.C.C. used the remains of Mecha-King Ghidorah to make Mechagodzilla
