Talk by Varkey

In a homily about the role of bishops, Varkey made a comment, which was deliberately taken out of context by an editor to "prove" that Varkey questioned the authority of Rome, which he hasn't. Varkey is in good standing with Rome and views them as his authority. This section needs to be deleted. It is false. Two editors agree. One editor is supposed to come up with a source soon. If he can't, the section must be deleted under WP:BLP. Student7 (talk) 12:33, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A statement without 1) a precise source 2) a source that actually supports the statement (rather, the innuendo) should be eliminated. If you delete it, even if you do so immediately, I will support your action. If thereafter the anonymous editor puts it in again, it should be removed immediately, unless he finally provides source and context. Esoglou (talk) 13:49, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
