HMAS Sirius (formerly MV Delos) is a commercial tanker that has been purchased by the Royal Australian Navy for conversion into a fleet replenishment vessel to replace HMAS Westralia. The Delos was built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea, being purchased by the Australian Government on completition. Delos is in the process of being converted for her new role at Fremantle, from where she will be commissioned as Sirius in 2006, with the crew of Westralia transferring over to the new ship. Sirius is expected to remain in service for approximately 15 years.
