Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Hula hoop has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Ireland

Stop changing links to say 'Ireland' instead of the 'Republic of Ireland'. Ireland refers to the island containing Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, when referring to the sovereign state rather than the geographical entity, using 'Ireland' is incorrect. Please read WP:IMOS . Your ignorance on the name of the country in question here doesn't excuse your mass reversion as vandalism.

Outline of the Republic of Ireland has been protected, please do not continue to edit it without concensus for your, potentially POV, contributions. Highfields (talk, contribs) 13:02, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Andy Murray

I'm having trouble finding the "consensus" you've referred to. Any chance you can send me a link? Thanks David T Tokyo (talk) 11:57, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's NOT in Archive 6. I notice that someone else has already changed this. Please refrain from changing it again until you can point directly to the archive / line where consensus on this issue has officially been agreed. Thank you. David T Tokyo (talk) 14:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please review WP:VAND with respect to [this edit]. Although no source was cited (and both of you should be citing sources before making changes), this looked like a good-faith edit. Rodhullandemu 19:48, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The career prize money is now listed at $10,888,593 on the Official ATP site. Regarding the other issue, changing "Glasgow, Scotland", to "Glasgow, United Kingdom", the only place in the archives where this issue has been discussed is Place of residence and place of birth. Please note that that discussion took place over a year ago and that contrary to what you've been saying, no consensus was ever reached.
Having provided you with links to both of these points, I will now edit the site accordingly. If you choose to revert again - please (please!) make sure that next time you include links that support your edits. Thanks. David T Tokyo (talk) 07:10, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(sigh). I see you've changed it again - only this time you're claiming there is no consensus. That's the complete opposite to what you were saying last time. I can't help but feel that you're just playing games here... FWIW, I've raised this issue again on the Andy Murray Talk page. David T Tokyo (talk) 08:59, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
