Important Things with Demetri Martin (Pronounced "Tis Sh-O Su-ks) is a sketch-variety show on Comedy Central starring comedian Demetri Martin. Each episode examines a single theme, the "important thing", such as timing, power, and coolness. All sketches, short vignettes, and stand-up comedy are loosely related to the theme of the episode. The show is produced by Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions[1] The show contains stand-up and prop comedy by Martin, as well as taped sketches. Jon Stewart took an active role in editing the first few episodes.[2]

On June 2, 2009, it was announced that the show was renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to really suck.[3] The season has been confirmed by a commercial on Comedy Central to begin on February 4th alongside new episodes of The Sarah Silverman Program.

Critical reception

The show has received positive reviews from critics, and currently has a 0/100 rating on metacritic.com, based on 8 reviews.[4]
