The European Foundation for Landscape Architecture (EFLA) is the professional organisation for landscape architecture in Europe. It represents the interests of the profession at a European scale and most particularly to the European Union and the Council of Europe. Membership of EFLA is open to European national professional associations of the landscape architects. Established in 1989 it operates a landscape architecture school recognition system, talks to the European Commission, is particular concerned with the Council's of Europe's European Landscape Convention, and organises various seminars and conferences. It publishes a quarterly web based Newsletter and is based in Brussels, Belgium. Website www.efla.org
