The Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush (Garrulax erythrocephalus) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
This species is sometimes[1] placed in the genus Trochalopteron.
The subspecies chrysopterum is sometimes[1] regarded as a separate species, Assam Laughingthrush.
