Alderminster is a village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district of Warwickshire, England. It is on the River Stour and the A3400, between Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston-on-Stour. Nearby places are Wimpstone, Atherstone-on-Stour and Newbold-on-Stour. In the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 452.

Historically part of Worcestershire, it was originally part of Shipston on Stour Rural District. In 1931 it was transferred to the Warwickshire Stratford on Avon Rural District. [1]

The first mention of a post office in the village is in July 1849, when a type of postmark known as an undated circle was issued.[2] The post office closed in 1973.
