"I Can Drive"
Song

"I Can Drive" is a song recorded by Shakespears Sister. The song is technically a solo effort by band member Siobhan Fahey after the departure of bandmate Marcella Detroit, and ultimately proved to be the final single released by Shakespears Sister. It was co-written and produced by Fahey's then-husband David A. Stewart and featured the now prominent record producer/writer Jimmy Hogarth on guitar.

Upon its release "I Can Drive" peaked at no. 30 in the UK Singles Chart. London Records deemed its relatively low chart performance was a failure and declined to release the corresponding album entitled "3". Fahey later left the label and after a years-long battle, she regained the rights to the album and released it independently through her website in 2004.
