SongMeanings is a music website created by Michael Schiano that encourages users to discuss on the underlying meanings and messages of individual songs. The website contains over 20,000 artists, 240,000 lyrics, 8,000 albums, and 180,000 members.[1] The website was created in late 2000 by Schiano after he was inspired by a debate surrounding music group Ben Folds Five's song, "Brick".[2]
