Ain Al Bardeh (Arabic: عين الباردة, transliteration: Ayn ál-Bardie) which means: Cold Spring. Is a village in Syria, located 55 KM from Homs on the Saieh Mountain in Wadi Al-Nasarah (Translated: Valley of Christians) at an altitude of 850 meters. A picturesque town with the famous St. Elias Church and well-built houses. The village is surrounded by: olive groves, mulberry orchards, and vineyards.
Ain Al Bardeh is an important village in the Wadi Al Nasarah highland, and Religious tourist point for surrounding villages. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Syria.
Location
On the slopes of Mount Sayeh of the Valley of Christians, rising above sea level about 850 meters, and about 3 km from the tourist town of Marmarita, belonging to the province of Homs, the advantage of a unique geographical location, where mountains surrounding all sides, but left both the west and north West to oversee the Mediterranean sea on a Syrian coast north through Al Dreikich, Alkfarin, Safita and other villages until it reaches the Lebanese border. By visiting the village, you will enjoy the wild life, trees and the jungles surrounding the area. The famous chilled mineral water spring, and nights of light decorate the hundreds of remote villages in the west horizon.
Climate
Ain Albardeh is blessed by a cool climate, where it rains and snows on mountains slopes several times in winter. Moderate summer days and cold foggy nights make it a tourist destination for the summer nights lovers.
Population
The population of Ain Al Bardeh is about 2000 people, hundreds of migrants distributed in more than forty countries. And most of them are located in the Americas and the West Indies. Love of science is what its people addicted to. We see hundreds of doctors, engineers and holders of advanced degrees and teachers. Ain Albardians are famous as business people and professionals.

The term Ain Al Bardeh means: Cold Spring. The famous chilled water spring that tastes really cool especially in the summer. The village is also famous for the Church of St. Elias that thousands of faithful Christian visit throughout the year from all over Syria and neighboring countries, It features a spectacular tourist site. Some of the most famous tourist destinations in Syria are located a few miles from like Marmarita, Kafroun, Mashta Al Helou, the monastery of St. Georges. And the most famous Crusader fortress Krak des Chevaliers.
