Chord progression
An old version of this page incorrectly said that "People get ready" by The Impressions had the same chord progression. This is incorrect, so this statement was removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.209.25 (talk) 22:27, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Citation for the key?
Why do you need a citation for the key it's in? It's in D-, that's just an inherent fact.
July 11, 2006?
How did someone find out that it was recorded on July 11, 2006?!? Because, they were at the recording studio-JF- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.9.218 (talk) 06:34, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
"Background and Production" section has neither
This section doesn't give information about the background or production of the song - as to why Mayer was interested in Mayfield and the blues, his musical goals, his lyrical goals, the interest in vintage production techniques and equipment. The Ienner anecdote is interesting, but mistitled here.
Mayer quote on lyrics
"A year ago this month I wrote a song called "Waiting on the World to Change", in which I tried to express the feelings of helplessness that come with knowing what needs to change in the world but also knowing the futility of trying." at his blog, http://www.johnmayer.com/blog/john/200704, april 26, 2007 entry. Title Confusion
John Mayer once said (i believe on Twitter, altough i can't find it - doesn't matter) that he is amused by how people confuse the title for "Waiting FOR the world to change". As a non-native english speaker, i wonder what the exact difference is, and why (if?) it's amusing to John Mayer. A LOT of people on the internet make this mistake.
