Sage Hospitality Resources is one of the leading hotel management and development companies in the United States.

History

Walter Isenberg is co-founder of Sage Hospitality Resources and serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Sage specializes in the operations, development and capital transactions of hospitality real estate. Sage owns and operates 47 hotels in 22 states, ranging from large, urban, full-service hotels to smaller, limited-service suburban properties. Mr. Isenberg directs all company operations, including hotel development, asset management, and property management.

Mr. Isenberg and his partner, Zack Neumeyer, were founders of Sage Hospitality Resources LLC, in 1984. The company’s history of hotel management includes the turnaround of dozens of distressed properties, asset management of luxury hotels, program development as a developer and manager, and the restoration of historically significant buildings located in large urban centers that were converted to hotel use. Sage has been consistently recognized for its ability to “give back” to the communities it represents. As an illustration, Sage was the first recipient of Marriott International’s Spirit to Serve Award, given annually to a franchise partner that lives its vision to be an outstanding corporate citizen. Sage has also been recognized for its commitment to customer service, receiving excellence in Service awards at many of its hotels. Sage’s development group has won numerous awards for excellence in the development of hotels and is nationally recognized as a leader in historic preservation.

Mr. Isenberg is a member of the American Hotel Lodging Associations Government Affairs Committee. Active in the community, Mr. Isenberg currently serves as Chairman of the Campaign to Restore Historic Treat Hall for Johnson & Wales University and serves on the boards of The Downtown Denver Partnership; The Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau; Colorado Concern; The Children’s Hospital Foundation; Mountain States Employers Council and Renaissance Hotels and Resorts Advisory Council.

Mr. Isenberg is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

CoCo Key Water Resorts

CoCo Key Water Resorts, the newest brand of indoor water resort developments, is a chain of family –oriented indoor water parks throughout the United States. Located in multiple states along the East Coast and Midwest, the Water Resorts offer consumers overnight vacations, day trips and group outings.


Created in partnership with Wave Development LLC and Sage Hospitality Resources. As of May 2009, a total of ten properties were in operation, with the eleventh in construction, and a promise of continued growth throughout the US.


CoCo Key Water Resorts were designed to fulfill the market need for a year-round family attraction and quality lodging at an economically friendly cost. In an aim to provide a tropical feel, at a close-to-home destination, the Water Resorts were themed after Key West, Florida and incorporate bright colors and Caribbean flare with the relaxing laid back feel of the island.


CoCo Key Water Resort attractions include, but are not limited to: body and raft slides; Coral Reef Cavern activity pools, Coconut Grove Adventure River; Palm Grotto indoor/outdoor spa; Dip-In Theater; Parrots Perch, an interactive play area and Key Quest Arcade. The Water Resorts also provide food and beverage options including A&W, Pizza Hut Express and the Wet Rooster bar.


Current CoCo Key Water Resorts are now open at Sheraton Chicago Northwest Hotel, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Clock Tower Resort, Rockford, Ill.; Cherry Valley Lodge, Newark, Ohio; Sheraton Ferncroft Resort, Danvers, Mass.; Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center, Omaha, Neb.,; Sheraton Cincinnati North, Cincinnati, Ohio; Clarion Hotel Kansas City Sports Complex, Kansas City, Mo.; Mt. Laurel Marriott Hotel, Mt. Laurel, N.J. with Holiday Inn Waterbury, Waterbury, Conn and Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel, Fitchburg, MA
