the school was built from 1968 - 1970 it was opened by the bishop of glasgow in March 1970. by 2001 it was the best high school in clydebank by behavior and exams results with 600 pupils. by 2008 it exploded to 1,050 students. in June 28, 2009 it was closed forever as it joined with nearby school to make "St Peter The Apostle High School" which opened on August 25, 2009 with 1,900 students in a £7-million super school. the building was due for demolition but was taken up for work by the local council. as of March 18, 2010 it remains standing and operating
