Stewart Wilken is a convicted serial killer from South Africa also know as Boetie Boer. Wilken is regarded as a highly unusual serial killer, having killed individuals from two distinct victim types, female prostitues and young boys (he also killed his adolescent daughter). Wilken killed from 1990 until he was arrested in January 1997. He was active in Port Elizabeth, on the east coast of South Africa.

Wilkens was charged with 10 counts of murder and 5 counts of sodomy on February the 3rd, 1997. He was convicted of 7 counts of murder and 2 counts of sodomy on February the 20th, 1998. Wilkens received 7 life sentences and was further advised by Mr Justice Chris Jansen that he would have received the Death Penalty had it still been available to him.

Wilken coined a term for the transition from life to death, the jellybean effect. He described this further as, Their eyes would bulge, their lips swell and their tongues protrude from their mouths.[1] It was at this moment when he would ejaculate.
