The Whitfield Fine Art Gallery is an art gallery in Mayfair, London, owned and founded by Clovis Whitfield in 1979. The gallery specialises in Italian Old Master paintings and now also 20th Century British art.

History

The gallery was founded in 1979 located on Old Bond Street in London and recently moved to a new 2,000-square-foot space on the first floor of 23 Dering Street in 2009. This expansion allowed the gallery to include 20th century British art in its exhibition program.

Whitfield Fine Art takes part in a number of art fairs worldwide, including the European Fine Art Fair, Maastricht, Collezionismo Internazionale a Palazzo Venezia Rome, Biennale Internazionale dell‘ Antiquariato, Florence, Art London and 20/21 British Art Fair. The gallery is a member of the Society of London Art Dealers.

The gallery has sold to many of the great museums of the world including: Los Angeles County Museum of Art; J. Paul Getty Museum, Malibu; Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna; Museo del Prado, Madrid; Cleveland Museum of Art; Indianapolis Museum of Art; Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna; Blanton Museum of Art, Houston; Kunsthaus, Zurich; The Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp and the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo among many others.
