Supafest Australia is a 2010 concert tour by Akon, Kelly Rowland, Eve, Pitbull, Jay Sean, Sean Paul, DJ Nino Brown and Chris Sorbello.
Background
In December 2009 the tour was announced as the "Ladies And Gentlemen Tour", scheduled for February 2010 with Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Kelly Rowland and Chris Sorbello as performing artists[1], but was then renamed into "Jamfest" in February 2010 and rescheduled to April 2010. Due to a potential legal conflict, the promoters changed the name again to "Supafest 2010".[2]
Supafest Australia is going to kick off in Adelaide, April 13 2010 and end in Perth on April 18, 2010. The tours headlining acts are Akon, Kelly Rowland, Jay Sean, Sean Paul, Pitbull and Eve, but in each city there is going to be a separate opening act.
Tickets for the Sydney show on April 15th were quickly sold out. A second show in Sydney on April 16th has been scheduled due to ticket demands.[3] The organisers of the tour have expanded the Supafest to one show outside of Australia: On April 24th the festival will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka as well.[4]
