Mampad is a small town in situated in the banks of the great chaliyar river.Malappuram district, Kerala, India. The world famous teak plantation and teak meuseum is located near mampad(7 kilom from here). Mampad is a place with rich in its cultureThe majority of the people living here are muslims.Mampad consist 2 LP schools,3 highersecondary schools and a famaous college(M.E.S college mampad).
