Entering NEW kit information

Current criteria for "kit" entries should be (IMHO) to enter them after they are "AVAILABLE", and not when they are in "SHIPPING" status (formerly known as "preview" 6/05). The reasoning behind this is that the DEFINITION of the toy is of existing, existed, or available kits. This is a guidline, not a law. I feel it will help prevent the 'appearance' of advertizing, and not enter the perview of speculation about future releases.

(I added the last 4 kits today because I have confirmation that they are shipping to dealers) Nixon 18:50, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Follow up to "Entering NEW kit information

I am of the opinion that new kits could be added when they are officially announced at www.stikfas.com to keep this page as up to date as possible.

Speculative kits, or kits NOT officially posted to www.stikfas.com should NOT be included in this page. --Swhite74 22:39, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

REQUEST TO REMOVE ADVERTISING

Which sections do you view as an Advertisement?

  1. Advertising. Articles about companies and products are fine if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. Furthermore, all article topics must be third-party verifiable, so articles about very small "garage" companies are not likely to be acceptable. External links to commercial organizations are acceptable if they can serve to identify major corporations associated with a topic (see finishing school for an example). Please note Wikipedia does not endorse any businesses and it does not set up affiliate programs. See also WP:CORP for a proposal on corporate notability.

So how does this article not meet these criteria?

If you have opinions about how to clean up the article - please give us recommendations below. Arbitrarily marking the page with code is a violation od the WP rules.

THIS ARTICLE's viability has already been reviewed and approved (Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Stikfas).

Please engage in the discussion, but do NOT vadalize the site.

CLEANUP DISCUSSION

The Company History section has highlights written from a NPOV.

The KITS section is a LISTING of kits as refference. This is common with other WP entries such as Transformers, and Xevoz. However, it is not necessary, and if someone with authority were to ask for its removal, then it would be no big loss.

The Body Styles Section is a NPOV description of differences in the product.

The Links section is to the manufacturer's main site, and to two fan-forums that provide information about the product.

I have left a message with User:Adycarter on his TALK page, and will remind any new-users that "If in doubt, do NOT edit the page" (or slap a code on it please). Thank you --Nixon 19:06, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
