Album pages

User:The Hyphen : 20:36, 28, July 2009 : Should we make separate pages for all the releases from the Vitamin String Quartet? I know it would take a lot of work, but I'm willing to do it.

Name

It sounds like there need to be several groups mentioned that all fall within the "String Tribute" The Section and Todd Mark Rubenstein have both put out albums on the same label using the "String Tribute" name.

A sick joke.

86.142.167.82 : 19:54, 12 October 2006 (UTC) If I ever find the guy that removed the old article... Not only did it meet Wikipedia's standards, but it had a list of almost ALL of the albums! It even had interesting information such as the high number of albums this band has published! This new article is a joke.[reply]

71.236.130.234 07:55, 15 October 2006 (UTC) All the old info is available in the history. The initial version of the page has the albums listing mentioned. All it takes is someone with sufficient interest going through the old pages for the info that was removed and adding it back to the current page.[reply]

From The Section Quartet's manager - The old article was completely wrong. This new article has the correct information and correct discography. Please DO NOT add back the old information! If you have any questions or issues, please contact me at manager@thesectionquartet.com. For anyone that wants to make this page fit "Wikipedia standards", please contact me first before making any changes. Thank You!

From Taylor @ Vitamin String Quartet - This article is about Vitamin String Quartet, not The Section Quartet. If they are mentioned in this article, it should be in relation to albums that they recorded for Vitamin Records. Any other information regarding The Section Quartet should be placed on their own Wikipedia page. -right?

Article name?

Is it the string quartet tribute, or the section quartet? The section quartet's website appears to have a vastly different discography, yet the official site at the bottom of this article leads to the section quartets website. Also the article says many bands have released alvums under the string quartet tribute name, yet you only link to one website. This article seems very contradictory. Could someone clear this up for me, as I don't know enough about it to edit it myself. 81.79.255.76 11:13, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

String Quartet Tribute. Hence the title of the page. Many bands have not released tributes, there have been tributes to many mands. -Violask81976 01:23, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone had confused the two and put incorrect links on the bottom of the page. So I removed the Section Quartet links. Although they probably deserve their own page. 75.177.84.51 01:25, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

there is already one: the Section Quartet. People get confused, because the Section Quartet performed some of String Quartet Tributes and known for it --Duke B. Garland 21:58, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

From Vitamin Records - This article is not based on The Section Quartet. This article discusses The String Quartet Tributes which were released by Vitamin Records. Therefore, there will be some information on this page that does not relate to The Section Quartet. If there are questions about the validity of the information on this page, please contact taylorl@vitaminrecords.com. If there are questions pertaining to The Section Quartet, refer to their wikipedia page or email them at the address listed above. Thank you!

Correct names of the tributes

Well... sorry about my english. I think that it's better to use the correct names of the tributes. I made some little corrections on the article looking for the real (and complete) names on the Vitamin Records website. --Riotbr (talk) 02:03, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An order to the discography

I was taking a look on the list of the partial discography... It wouldn't be better if ordered by the name of the artist/band? Example: Gwen Stefani on the 'S'? --Riotbr (talk) 02:12, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fix this up.

This article is not much of an article. We need some actual material. And also: more albums! Several are missing, such as the Killers tribute and the Nightmare Before Christmas tribute single. --DMP47 (talk) 20:23, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to add more information, but seeing as how I work with the record label I do not want to make it seem like an advertisement. We have all of our information on our websites: www.vitaminrecords.com and www.vitaminstringquartet.com. I'm going to add some more of the albums to the discography. Please let me know if there is a problem before removing! taylorl@vitaminrecords.com. Thanks 173.196.66.91 (talk) 18:44, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
