Cleanup

There is a lot of information in the History section that could probably be condensed, organized, etc. JubalHarshaw 16:11, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Under the guise of "wikification" and "improvement," this article was seriously vandalized by the creation of numerous empty and false wiki links. Wikification DOES NOT MEAN wikify just about every name or noun in an article. I agree with the above comment, especially since it appears that someone copied almost verbatim an early history source into the article. Most of this detailed material is in the history link at the end and does NOT need to be regurgitated into the article. I don't think anyone needs to know the name of everyone who lived in Potter before the Civil War. But thanks for an effort anyhow. Stepp-Wulf 23:37, 14 September 2006 (UTC).[reply]

"Under the guise of" ... "seriously vandalized" ... you make it look like I damaged the article on purpose. This was very early on in my wikification career and I didn't do as good a job as I should. If you object to my edit, revert, remove, change, and let me know so I can improve (to your credit, you've done that, though not anywhere near as respectfully as you could have ... calling me a vandal was uncalled for.)
