Sandon Business & Enterprise College is a co-educational comprehensive for ages 11-16, situated on the South Eastern outskirts of the City of Stoke-on-Trent. It serves the communities of Meir, Meir Park, Rough Close and Lightwood.

Ofsted described the college in the following terms:

"This is a thriving and vibrant school with many exciting and innovative curriculum initiatives.

Leadership and management has also been described as "inadequate".

The Governors and Senior Management have a clear commitment to continual and sustained improvement in pupils’ attainment and in the richness of the curriculum the school provides."

In February 2008 the college moved into a brand new £17.3 million state of the art building, boasting an ICT rich environment, a £1.2 million sports hall, a 21st century Business & Enterprise Centre, including its own purpose built restaurant and a fully equipped recording studio for college and community use, together with numerous other specialist facilities.

The college is the first secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent (and perhaps England) to benefit from the national programme known as Building Schools for the Future.

Following an Ofsted inspection, the school was placed in "special measures". In the report, leadership and management were described as "inadequate" while the teaching was found to be satisfactory, with some outstanding lessons.

The college was inspected again on 2nd and 3rd March 2010 and subsequently came out of "special measures."

The college was vandalised
