Madvillainy is a hip hop album released on March 24, 2004 on the independent label Stones Throw Records by Madvillain, a hip hop group consisting of MF DOOM (MC) and Madlib (producer). Madvillainy was met with critical acclaim for its unique approach - short songs, obscure lyrics, few choruses and a sound which was generally unfriendly to commercial radio. This was directly opposite to the formulas of popular hip hop of the time.

The first music to be publicly debuted from Madvillain was the song "America's Most Blunted" which was played by Madlib at the Red Bull Music Academy in Brazil, November 2002.
