Ric McIver is municipal politician and businessman from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is currently the alderman for Ward 12 on the Calgary City Council, a post he has held since his initial election in October, 2001.[1] On April 21, 2010, he announced his intentions to run for mayor in the upcoming October 2010 municipal election.[2]
