Shahzad Faisal

Shahzad Faisal is a Pakistani citizen who was arrested in connection with the 2010_Times_Square_car_bomb_attempt.[1]


Background

He has recently returned to the country after spending five months in Pakistan. He paid in cash three weeks ago for the Nissan Pathfinder he parked in Times Square filled with explosives.The transaction was made through an ad on Craigslist. The vehicle was purchased for $1,300 in a shopping centre in Connecticut. which he reportedly paid in $100 bills.

He was arrested at John F Kennedy airport on 3rd May 2010 while he was trying to board a flight to Dubai, according U.S Attorney General Eric Holder.
