Elizabeth Marie Camacho

Elizabeth Marie Camacho, born March 10, 1991 in Hensdale, Illinois is a Pop/R&B singer and actress. She has Puerto Rican, African-American and Native-American ancestry. She is the only child of a single-parent home, raised by her mother who works as a social worker.

Elizabeth began acting and took an interest in bcoming a model at age four. Elizabeth's musical roots stem back to the church. She sang in the church children's choir, youth choir and praise team. She wrote and sang her first song publicly titled "Lift Him Higher" at age seven.

Throughout Elizabeth's entire schooling, she participated in chorus and theatre. Her sixth grade music teacher noticed her "gift" for singing and encouraged her to compete in the National Honors Chorus competition. Elizabeth was casted as Rebecca in a local theatre post-production, Our Town, written by Thorton Wilde while participating in All County Chorus and other choral events.

At age fifteen, she graduated from John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center in Raleigh, North Carolina with her certification in "Select TV/Print". Elizabeth then signed with Maultsby Talent Agency in Wilmington, North Carolina as her talent representation.

Elizabeth has captured the attention of many making her very first ever staduim performance with a distinct group of singers selected to sing the National Anthem during President Obama's rally (2008) in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

At age 17, while in Savannah, Georgia, Elizabeth appeared in an independent film "Trumpet My Return" (2008) playing the role of a troubled teen student.

Recently, Elizabeth was casted in her first musical stage play at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in the production of Westside Story (2009) playing the part of "Consuelo" as well as one of the principal roles, Taylor McKessie, in Disney's(R) "High School Musical 2" On Stage (2009). Also, Elizabeth was chosen to perform as one of the Ray Kennedy entertainers on the Palm Beach Princess Cruise ship, performing "The Sounds of Christmas" (2009) as the leading lady soprano.

Elizabeth continues to make special guest appearances locally for the radio station, advertisement, businesses, talent/fashion shows, pageants, and ceremonial celebrations as well as national appearances in TV commercials, including Coca-Cola(R) (2009) "Summer Fun" and ESPN-U(R) (2009) "University of Florida".

Elizabeth was accepted at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a major in Applied Meteorology but chose to pursue her music career.

Elizabeth currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina with her mother where she is presently signed with "26 Managment, LLC" and "Maultsby Talent Modeling & Talent Agency".
