Criticism

Despite being intended for kids, Kidz Bop has come under criticism for using songs that are not suitable for children.[5]. Some of these songs include "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga, covered on Kidz Bop 17[6], whose subject matter includes stalking and attempted murder, "Telephone" by Lady Gaga and Beyonce, which shows nudity, sexual harassment, murder, and cussing, covered on "Kidz Bop: Dance Party", and "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha (which opens with a line about "brush[ing] my teeth with Jack") covered on the recently released Kidz Bop: Dance Party. whose subject matter includes sexual references and drug abuse. Others criticize Kidz Bop for ruining songs.
