Ashfaq Munshi was the Interim Chief Executive Officer and President of MSC Software in 2009. [1][2] Ashfaq also currently serves as an advisor to Transitive Corporation and is on the Dean's Leadership Council for the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University.

According to a cover story in Business Week, Munshi"lost his head" during the dot-com era.[3]
