Song |
"Money" is a song on Michael Jackson's album HIStory. According to the New York Times, 'in "Money," he whispers, "You'll do anything for money."[1] apparently directed at the father of the boy who made the 1993 charges, and to whom Jackson paid a multi-million dollar settlement.[2] According to the Allegheny Times, in Money "Jackson rails against people who will 'lie for it.'"[3] The song appears on 1997 compilation album Blood on the Dance Floor: History in the Mix as a radio edit version by the house music band Fire Island.
