The now retired from his position as Sheriff Matt Dillon is at his ranch enjoying the wedding of his daughter when they come to arrest for the murder of a man. Assuming that only confused him with another man, Dillon accompanying the officer, but he realizes that there is a reward of five thousand dollars for his head. also stars: James Brolin as John Parsley, Christopher Bradley as Josh Reardon, Ali MacGraw as Uncle Jane Merkel, Amy Stock Poynton as Beth Readon.
