Javorje pri Gabrovki is a settlement to the northwest of Gabrovka in the Litija municipality in central Slovenia. Traditionally the area was part of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew (Template:Lang-sl) and belongs to the Gabrovka Parish. It is first mentioned in written documents dating to 1373, but was rebuilt a number of times over the centuris.[3]
