The Art Digerati

The computer industry and online communities + the large world of designers and artists = the new fangled movement of computer art that works it's way into thousands of new branches. Most of this article deals with the independent companies who bring this movement.

Though designing graphics and websites has been around for quite some time, only recently have new lines of style and theory really appeared. These new techniques deal a lot with Modernism, and Post Modernism. It may be applied in any media, such as print, digital media, motion/ indie films, product design, packaging, information signs/magazine adds, and general web design - which is a broad catagory.

Abstract thinking, plays one of the greatest roles in these designs. The more abstract the design gets, the more people might think about it The more they will develop their own thoughts on what it means, or just develop their own thoughts on its hipness. Nonetheless, simple flash lay-out's with simple fades and motions - along with simple but ironic graphics - can be less confusing, and more interesting.
