You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2010s. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Erzsébet Báthory(talk|contr.) 12:25, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox geographic region has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you. Erzsébet Báthory(talk|contr.) 14:36, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2010 in electro pop music requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. iBendiscuss 01:54, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2010s in science and technology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

See WP:CRYSTAL. Wikipedia shouldn't predict the future.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. STOP - Generation pages

Please do not change the dates and introduction on the Generation X, Generation Y, and Generation Z pages. Dates were reached through a consensus. --CreativeSoul7981 (talk) 04:17, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures) please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Reconsider! 04:40, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to 2010s. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. ╟─TreasuryTagquaestor─╢ 22:14, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but this article is a real mess. Is there a good reason I shouldn't nominate it for deletion? You're not using reliable sources, and it has no proper focus or definition. Fences&Windows 23:28, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Don't add non-free images, there's no fair use justification for such a general article. Fences&Windows 23:31, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hold on, I'm just starting the article. Don't abort it so fast. DriveMySol (talk) 23:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's unsalvagable. Please take a step back and look at what you're writing when you start articles. You're not basing them on sources, you're using whatever comes off the top of your head! Your enthusiasm is welcome, but you need to stop just throwing articles together. Fences&Windows 23:52, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated 2010s in urban music, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2010s in urban music. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Fences&Windows 23:45, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with 2010s in music. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Don't repeat this while a deletion debate is open. Fences&Windows 00:05, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:SwampOregon.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Nymf talk/contr. 12:31, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Generation Alpha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Stop

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been banned for this behavior twice. Stop adding material even if it is true, unless a reliable source specifically says so. For instance in new wave article do not add material claiming the music is alive in the 2010's unless you can find a couple of sources that describe 2010s acts SPECIFICALLY as New Wave. This is different then having a minor New Wave influence. Edkollin (talk) 19:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Split the 1990-2009 in fashion into two pages

You are not a fashion expert. If you were, then you'd know that the clothes in the 1990's had a completely different style from the 2000's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.108.192.9 (talk) 14:33, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Mapping of the Earth

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Mapping of the Earth. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - History of cartography. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at History of cartography - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — Timneu22 · talk 23:11, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Category:2012 millenarianism (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for renaming to Category:2012 apocalypticism (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Greg Bard 02:04, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
