Stephen Griffiths born 1969 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire is a suspected serial killer and student from Bradford, who has been charged for the murders of at least three prostitutes in Bradford during 2009 and 2010.[1] He was arrested on 24 May, 2010 and appeared in court on 28 May 2010 where he was remanded in custody until his next Crown Court appearance on 7 June, 2010.[2] In court he gave his name as the "Crossbow Cannibal", a name used by some sections of the media in connection with the killings. Griffiths, is reported to be a psychology graduate undertaking postgraduate research in criminology at Bradford University. [5]
