"We Take Mystery (To Bed)" is a single by the British artist Gary Numan. Two music videos were made for the song one being for the American market,other being for the UK. It was the second single, and biggest hit, to be taken from the I, Assassin album, reaching number nine in the UK Singles Chart. A different version of the song (known as the Early Version) is available as a bonus track on the 12" single (and subsequently on reissues of the album on CD) this early version was recorded in 1981 as part of early sessions for the album I'Assassin. There is also another early version, which was discovered on the studio master tapes when Beggars Banquet Records remastered the album in 1999, this has never been released. The extended version features a lengthy fretless bass solo by Pino Paladino.

The song has been played frequently on live tours throughout Numan's career.
