Medija is a small settlement in the Zagorje ob Savi municipality in central Slovenia. It lies along the upper valley of a stream with the same name, a minor left tributary of the river Sava. The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Zasavje statistical region.[2]
