Neutrality Problem
Words and phrases such as "played a crucial role in the expeditious release of...", "highly acclaimed...", "championed human rights..." and many others smack of self-marketing. Uncited mudslingings are prominent in this article. Jekjek 15:06, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Connection?
What's the connection of the following:
"On January 29, 2008, Philippine Sen. Loren Legarda donated P 1 million ($ 1 = P 40) needed for 4-year-old deaf Filipino Raphael Angelo Provido’ cochlear implant at the Philippine General Hospital. Guillermo Mallillin, president of the Gruppo Technico Medico International Inc., distributes the cochlear implant device in the Philippines. Its Australian counterpart granted 70% discount on the device, which costs $20,000 a pair."

Copyright Issue
Wow. I was looking through the references and I noticed that the majority of the article is quoted almost verbatim from this page:http://www.lorenlegarda.com.ph/about-loren.html under "Biography" Not only is this a copyright issue, it also explains the neutrality issues with this page. --Strigoides (talk) 09:26, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- The copyvio text dump is occurred in 2009-04-19 by 121.54.32.100 (talk · contribs). I am attempting to fix it now. --Bluemask (talk) 09:37, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Content dispute
We want those sources and contents removed from this entry. I am from the Office of Sen. Legarda and we want to update the article however, it always gets reverted. We started this page and the reason why most of the content from the official website and this wiki entry are almost the same is because they are written by the same writer. Can the admin please give the rights to we can update this page. We would deeply appreciate it. Thank you.

I am going to revert the page one last time. I've also added two very reliable sources. If you disagree with them, tell it to The Philippine Star. See below:
- Corpus apologizes to Loren but sticks to accusations. Manila. February 7, 2004. The Philippine Star/Philippine Headline News. Retrieved on February 13, 2010.
- What do you think of the Villar-Legarda tandem?. Manila. November 22, 2009. The Philippine Star. Retrieved on February 13, 2010.
- Just keep in mind WP:CIVIL, WP:DR, WP:CALM and WP:CONSENSUS. I hope this turns out well. —LedgendGamer 08:57, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Page has been protected for five days. To the two parties propagating this dispute, I have refrained from blocking you both so that you may pursue dispute resolution here on the talk page. Someguy1221 (talk) 09:02, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. Whew!---HoppingHare (talk) 09:04, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Protection template
{{editprotected}} Please put the {{pp-semi-indef}} template inside remark tags, since it is not correct at the moment, and causes the article to appear in Category:Wikipedia pages with incorrect protection templates. Debresser (talk) 02:05, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- Removed. It was put there in error by one of the now-blocked editors. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 05:01, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
