Article to follow. I just wanted to make clear that the settlement in the Parish of Linkinhorne is known only as Darley or Darley Ford, and has never been known as Darleyford. Locals refer to it as Darley; I suspect only outsiders call it Darley Ford, perhaps to distinguish it from other Darleys.
