Margaret Turnbull (17 November 1872 – 12 June 1942) was a Scottish screenwriter. She wrote for 51 films between 1914 and 1939.

She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and died in Yarmouthport, Massachusetts. She was the sister of producer Hector Turnbull.
