Pahar

Pahar (Hindi/Nepali: पहर, Urdu:پہر), which is more commonly pronounced Peher, is a traditional division of time used in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. One pahar equals three hours, and there are eight pahars in a day.[1]
